Israeli Salad

Photobucket
I just have to add radish in my salad.

I remember having this salad for breakfast in Jerusalem, it was served with eggs, soft and hard cheeses and olives. It was so good that I wanted to go out to the restaurant every morning. And of course my husband wouldn't mind it at all, because he also loved it!

The salad is easy to make,  all you have to do is to chop cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and parsley. Then dressed the salad with olive oil and lemon, season with salt and pepper. That's it! Perfect for hot summer day!

A wonderful summer salad! My mom used to make a similar one with cucumbers, tomatoes and radishes dressed with olive oil, and I always loved it!

This does look easy and simply - but so tasty. I bet that radish added just the right amount of crunch!

Did not know you traveled to Israel. Did you like it? I've been there twice and LOVE the people and the food.

Great looking salad: I could eat it any time of the day. It's also good with olives and feta.

Looks so bright and beautiful! I haven't had radishes in ages. When I was a kid I wouldn't eat them but always liked having them on my salads since they were pink. Weirdo! Hehe.

Elra, how easy is that dish. The best part about it, is I usually have those things on hand anyway!

Great picture too!
