Maaa ... whaaaat????
Okay, some of you might have your tongue twisted to pronounce this! No worry, Donald said, it’s pronounced ‘mock shoe’. Yaaao, I can say that for sure!
I saw the recipe at Donald, and I couldn' t resist to wait that long to make it. So, here it is. It was very satisfying delicious meal made from the simplest ingredients. The only item missing was, ramps. So, I used Spring onions instead. I serve Maque choux with plain steam Basmati rice. Oh, gawd ... typing and loading this photos make me hungry again. So, let me excuse myself, 'cause I need to eat some more. Recipe? right, go here, and you will not be disappointed!

Goodness Elra! Your pix are making me wickedly hungry. :-)
Wasn't this just silky and spicy? I have to make it again soon. Especially after seeing your pix.

Yours looks wonderful! I checked out the ingredient list and it sounds yummy. The only thing I would have to omit is celery because the hubby doesn't like them. :-)

Hi Elra.
This is sort of a combo of jambalaya and gumbo, no? It looks easy and delicious!
Just looking at the pictures I want to eat that dish. I'm not too sure I can find Andouille sausage around here. I guess any sausage would do. Beautiful dish.
Oh my gosh that looks soo good, I am drooling now!
Your rendition looks lovely! This is a great simple spring recipe, I'm going to make it soon. I never find ramps either :(

lol, my tongue got all twisted trying to pronounce it, all right! I can just imagine how much more twisty it'll get once I get a spoonful of that delicious concoction into my mouth!
It looks absolutely delicious Elra. Excellent photos.
And now I'm hungry!!! That looks really delicious.
Ha! I pronounced it correctly right off the bat!
It looks awesome Elra, it's so funny I never heard of ramps before and now I've seen food bloggers use that ingredient a lot in recent weeks. I'm going to have to check that out.
Been going through google reader all morning and I am amazed how many people have been able to find ramps. I would be in your boat and using spring onions because I can not find the little buggers anywhere.
Looks amazing!
That looks like creole goodness! Fantastic flavors here, and your shrimp look great!
Oh my gosh, this looks deliciously maddening.... I am salivating.... dribbling with soppy spit--- like a dog.
Elra, pardon me while I lick the screen...ok, I'm done.
